Oops. Hit enter too soon. I'm just curious where everyone's pain is.
Mine seems to be worse in my mouth, on the gums next to my second molars. Probably why they thought it was a tooth issue. It can either be in front of or behind my teeth but it's never the teeth but more the gums, which makes lidocaine easy to apply. At times it radiates to my ear but is mostly concentrated on my upper and lower jaw/teeth area.
Oh, and my right eye twitches sometimes too. No pain with that though thankfully!
Hi!! My stabbing pain is in my bottom jaw, gap where a molar used to be and the molar next to that. The worse stabbing is in my toungue, all on the right side. The numbness is the roof of my mouth, lips and tongue. The shocks are anywhere from the top of my cheekbone to my chin but not around my eye. Aren't we lucky?? :)
The toungue pain is really pooey! (I cleaned that up!) I was trying to eat mushy muesli for breakfast and it was if my tongue had a migrane. It didn't turn up there till about a year after my first symptoms and the shocks when I even lightly brush my face are fairly recent. Before that it was all inside my mouth.
Hi all - left scalp, forehead, cheek and nose. Once in a while a shock to a back molar that has a root canal and crown. I feel very lucky that it is not my mouth like so many of you. I can brush my teeth, just not wash my face or comb my hair. Oh and blowing your nose, lets not even think about that!
