Baclofen, you may be making me feel rather funny.... flossing have made my mouth feel like burning...
but today I am HAPPY! You know why?! My amazing, supportive, smart, loving, kind, sweet, and funny (not to mention super handsome) fiance and I are going to buy wedding rings today!!! Yay. What a fun thing to do on a Saturday. I offered to drive and he politely declined ;). I'm just kidding, I'm still adjusting to the baclofen. I won't be driving just yet. Anyhow.
In one months time this LGHiker is going to become LBHiker. Oh yes, I am taking his last name. Let's not get into a debate here, but as a little girl I always used to dream of taking on a new last name, I don't know why! Plus, my signature could use an upgrade.
We are getting married in the presence of our immediate family and his surviving grandparents at his parents house with a Justice of the Peace. I bought my dress on Amazon. Technically it is a Prom dress, but it is white, so who cares?! My mother wants me to hold flowers, so I guess I will oblige (but to be honest flowers never crossed my mind). My shoes are 4 inch stiletto pointy ruby red glittery/sparkly glam-tastic shoes. I like to think of them as my Ruby Red slippers taking me to my new home! Ok, so we already live together, but you get my point.
TN might be changing the course of my life... I'm not sure if I will be able to continue with my student teaching... but it isn't changing the most important thing in my life, and that is my forthcoming MARRIAGE (forget the wedding part) to the love of my life. MB is simply amazing. I am so grateful to have him in my life, and you better believe I let him know it!!
