Does anyone else notice that when storms are brewing and barometric pressure gets lower that your TN acts up? This seems to be the case with mine.
For me it’s the Change in barometric pressure that plays havoc, going up or down. Once the weather system stabilizes, so does my pain level…more or less:)
There is most definitely a connection. The day or two as the front moves in can be difficult. Cold wind and abrupt downturn in temp is particularly painful. Warm weather changes are a welcome relief.
Yes. I find it when the pressure is dropping, so am I (so to speak).
It is dreadful where I live. The pressure changes every other day ( I live in a valley)
It is horrible.
yes....when rains are coming, i get flare ups. You've heard seniors talk about how they can feel the rain coming and all that in their joints...well, it's the same for me in my face.
@Smash...yeah, i live in a valley too...and the weather does affect me often as well. *hugs* We gotta move girl..!!

We do have to move! I am a male though LOL
I just was about to note on this the other day.... Yesterday I had a very low pain day. Sunny and high pressure all day. Today started out ok but I feel it my pain getting slightly worse and more noticeable. Rain and low pressure is moving in.
I had a low pain day yesterday too. I live on the BC west coast…literally on a cliff. Warm sunny days are welcome but the past three years when the big high pressure systems move in and stay in for a long time then I really flare. Must be the light too. August has become the dreaded month, right up there with the winter months. Spring and fall, temperate, best.
Thanks everyone for your replies! I just wanted to make sure it wasn't in my head, LOL. I bet if you ask the neuros, they will tell you it has nothing to do with it, but it DOES. They would have to have TN themselves in order to feel it. Thanks again everyone!
Absolutely: cold temps, wind and light breeze as well!
Blessings,
Rick
(FYI. I went back in to do a quick punctuation edit–was told I’d have to turn on "Java scripts.
No Thanks to that request…) Will now attempt to reply again…
*hand over mouth, giggling* sorry chap! My mistake....forgiveth me?

Today we have a snow storm and last night I woke with pain. Weather was always a trigger for my migraines and now it looks like it may be a trigger for the face pain too.
I am in the valley too and we have crazy weather/pressure changes here.
Crazy pain today. Snow just started, and I have an exam to write for work (3 hours long).
Grrrrrrrr.
Ah well at least I know my stuff.

Sorry you are in such pain. I can't imagine doing a three hour exam in that condition. Good luck to you.
Hope your pain gets better smash!

Weather totally gets me these days. I am like a human weather station. Companion headache pain and TN2 trigger sensitivity builds until the weather event begins and eases somewhat as it passes. The cold has really been kicking my tail this winter. I live in WV, USA and we've had some crazy weather over the last year. Strangest I have seen in my lifetime. I walked out to get my daughter from school the other day and it was 50F and sunny. By the time I got her from school and we walked home (20 minutes later) is was spitting ice pellets, wind was howling, and the temps had dropped to 39F. In 20 minutes, and I had not worn my scarf and face warmer as it was not cold when I left. Made for a painful walk home and a most uncomfortable evening whilst I tried to get my nerve pain to calm the fetch down.
Yes. Glad to know it is not just me!
I noticed it! Even after surgery…seasonal changes…I’m a walking weather vane. Can always tell when something is brewing in the air…gives new meaning to the term fair weather friend
