Two Days To MVD

Excited and nervous but after a four hour pre op I think they covered everything except for how high I could jump.

Really pleased they checked for bacteria via swabs and the “gas passer” was even curious about how wide I could open my mouth due to not wanting to damage any teeth especially caps.

I feel confident in the neuro and her medical team but I am still a chicken at heart. I also am the Worrier Queen.

Will get back to you good friends with an update after my surgery. Your friend in pain

Chippy

Thanks Jaimie for your prayers. I was concentrating on getting things organized around my house yesterday that I missed my Opthamologist’s appointment. They were very understanding and got me in first thing this morning. If surgery was in town it would not be so bad but as we are two hours from home the “Worrier Queen” has to make sure my hubby has everything he needs while away as well. He is very emotional when it comes to looking after me and this is a really big deal. I am thankful my son will make the three hour trip from his hometown to keep him company.

Got to go now as there are suitcases to pack and as I said in my blog. Wednesday should be a great day. Yeah no pain.

Thanks again
Chippy

Best wishes Chippy!!
