Well my pre-op for surgery is complete.Hoping all tests come back with no problems.Hospital was very thorough in all aspects of pre-operation proceadures.I was asked numerous qustions about my present and past health by a nurse who also took swabs of various locations of my body for MRSA & VRE.I also spoke with hospital pharmacist who went over my medications and approved them so I would be able to continue to take them up until surgery.I spoke with Anaesthetic and he was very thorough of what his duties would be before sugery as well as during the proceadure.He also went over my health past & present.Then was sent for Blood work and ECG.After ECG I was sent for a CHEST X-RAY.This was the longest wait of the morning so far but was in and out of Radiology in 20 minutes.Then I was able to leave for HOME.
Although its a scary time for me the hospital made me feel at ease & very confident that i chose the right hospital to have my MVD.So now i wait till Febuary 1st to arrive.I know the Anxiety will become larger as the days get closer but I am very confident not only in myself but all who will be involved in my surgery.As i’ve allways said I have a wonderful wife who is my back bone thru all of this I thank her dearly.I also have some Super friends I’ve made on hear that are so great.I will post again when able after surgery.
