Well I had the MVD surgery on 12/28 and I am recovering just fine. I had trouble lifting my head up because of headaches but it is getting better. THe surgery team and doct. N. Boulis at Decatur, GA Emory University Hospital was great. They had to cut some of the nerve because vessels were pushing it the trigeminal nerve in, therefore leaving part of my right face somewhat numb. But it's so much better than having pain.
Now I am ready to recover and actually get a filling on the left side fixed.
Doing the happy dance with you and for you. I'm 9 weeks out and life could be so much worse. Keep posting here especially if you maintain recovery....it can give hope to others down the line!
