Low Level Laser (cold laser)

Has anyone with TN II had Low Level Laser (cold laser)? I've just read about it and would like to know more.

Yes, I purchased a cold laser with the highest milli wattage available and still be considered cold laser. I am a retired chiropractor and I had access to this laser thru some vendors that I used in practice. I used the laser for about 6 months religiously hitting the 2 branches of the nerve that were involved with my TN, the ophthalmic and maxillary branches as well as the angle of the jaw where the TN exits to the facial area and divides into its 3 branches, and lastly suboccipital and upper cervical spine. Unfortunately I did not see any results from using the laser. I eventually opted for mvd surgery in July of this year, and I was one of the fortunate post mvd surgical patients that came thru with flying colors. I have now been pain free for over 4 months. I do believe there is some merit in upper cervical manipulation and have seen various reports on this site of excellent results. In 30 years of practicing chiropractic I never had the opportunity to treat a TN patient. I noticed curiously during some of my severe break thru episodes of pain that I could find immediate relief if I was able to situate my head in a extended and slightly tractioned position over the back of a chair. I feel like there is the ability to move the spinal cord enough with either the manipulation or traction enough to have and affect where the TN is compressed by the artery (just my theory). I would have had the mvd much sooner had I known the outcome would be so remarkable, but I wanted to try everything non surgical first.

I pursued cold laser treatments weekly through my chiropractor last year. I was treated for a period of 3 months. I didn't notice any significant help or improvement. So, I've discontinued that treatment.
