I am so frustrated. I went for Botox injections for my migraines and they did not work. I am still getting migraines and really bad headaches. My husband and best friend both felt a nerve block would have worked better for me. But a lot of research showed that botox should have worked. Now I am stuck with this medicine in my body and can’t do anything!!! Plus my tn pain is still not under control. It is UNBELIEVABLE frustrating. I don’t know what to do anymore. I would trade it for anything. It gets so bad it causes my migraines. I am just tired of doctors guessing and not honestly knowing how to treat diseases. I feel like Trigeminal neuralgia is not always easy to treat. And until the doctor can find the right mixture of meds. not much else can be done. The sad part is this doctor I have right now tried to pull me off of my meds and it is what is causing all of my pain. He doesn’t think I need to be on carbatrol. He thinks lyrica will handle my pain. My pain is really bad any time I try to come off of carbatrol. Then I end up with migraines. So frustrating!!!
