Emla topical lidocaine mixed cream

Hi all, just thought I’d mention “Emla” cream as an option for some relief of pain.

I bought it over the counter at “shoppers drug mart” at the pharmacy.
It’s a tiny tube and costs around 15.99 ( pricey) but I only needed a little bit applied to my cheek, jaw area and it numbed and provided some relief, took the edge off my pain.
It comes with patches, but I’ve never used mine.
It’s worth the money for a bit of respite.

Thanks Mimi, will pick some up. Want to mostly put it on being my ear and on the scalp.

Thanks Mimi. I’m going to try this. My pain is off the charts despite all meds. Off to see a neurosurgeon tomorrow .
