Different lidocaine gels and creams

I recently realized there are different lidocaine gels and creams.

Apparently the cream is topical but I get the 5% gel which is used for denture users and burn victims. Since much of the shocks I get are in my teeth this has been perfect for me. I put it on my face and along my gums. I was just wondering what percentage are other people using. If there's a stronger one, I might be asked to switch. And I don't want to say "you can use it on your gums" if it's the topical only kind to other users here.

Who knew! Maybe says in the group of topicals somewhere?

My patch is 5%.
And my face topical lidocaine for my skin is 3%.

Just called pharmacist and it can go on a hemmeroids, burns, bites, and gums!

Well..! I use 2% inside my mouth. I never even thought to ask if there were higher concentrations....lol I will certainly be addressing this with dr.

Thanks for starting this post....(see that's why i love this site..someone will bring up something that i've never even given any thought to!)

Wishing us all a pain free day
