Capsaison

I have been dealing with tn for over two years now. The doctor prescribed terrific. After reading about the drug I decided first to try alternative therapy.

I started doing acupuncture. That helped a lot. Then I read about vitamin b-12 and started taking sub-lingual liquid. That also helped. Then one night about two months ago I read on here about using capsaicin. It was a rainey night and the pain and I was trying to sleep and the pain was unbearable.l decided to try the capsaicin. I applied a little to my right forehead and almost immediately the pain subsided. After a couple days I had no pain.

The last week the pain came back and I decided to try the capsaicin again.

I wanted to confirm to myself that it was really helping with the pain. After 2 applications I no longer have any pain. I just wanted to share my experiences with everyone.

That is great. I have spoken with a couple of people that use capsaicin. I am going to try it next time. I am a bit nervous about putting these products on my face in case it got into my eye by accident.

I use Voltaren Emugel for my jaw and cheek pain sometimes and it does help a little. I am going to try Tiger Balm too. I don't why I never thought of that one...my mom has TN 1 and used to use Tiger Balm on her face a lot.

Hi

Like you I was nervous about trying it. Than one night I could not sleep or move my head without shooting pains thru the top of my head. I figured I had nothing to lose. It was like a miracle. I had bought the generic Walgreen brand. Not very costly. Anyway I decided to post my experience in the hope that it will help someone else. Just be careful with your eyes.
