Yes! I've always thought it was just barometric pressure that triggered pain episodes but now I think it's changes in weather alone. I have pain this morning. The barometric pressure has been steady but we had a lot of rain yesterday and it's humid this morning. It seems I've always had my worst bouts of pain during the summer when temperatures have been in the 90s with very humid conditions. I also get sharp pains in my ear and that only happens when there is a change in weather. Also, I have bi-lateral TN but while I usually have pain on the left side, it's more rare on my right. Today it's my right side that hurts. It's always something, isn't it?
Big Time! They are my worst trigger, even more so than stress. There is really nothing to do but take a breakthrough med and “wait it out” in my case at least. Houston has had terrible floodings all through the month of April and I have just been hunkered down. The pain has escalated to a point where I do the bare minimum. I can’t wait for the steady, hot summer months. My pain is at its best then. Best being a level 5, compared to a 7, on most days
Hang in there!
