Back and alive

I have not been online or able to do much for a few months. My pain I am having (post surgery after a year) became so bad that it was going off every two minutes.

I went to the ER and was just given DIAZEPAM for the pain. No help at all! I had not been able to eat well for 3 weeks had not been able to drink anything becasue every time something hits my lip it would set off the pain.

My boyfriend took me to the clinic that had done my surgery in Feb. 2008 and asked for a doctor to look at me. I was crying and the pain was so bad that I just wanted it to stop. They just said all we can do is set her and appointment for next week.

My boyfriend is from another country and called 911 when I was trying to talk to the nurse. The fireman came and got man at him and said this is not why you call 911. He said look at her and all the pain she is in who is going to help her? If you dont do some thing I will call 911 again and get the police here.

The nurse wheeled me to the ER again and signed me in. The Nuro surgery started me on some kind of heavy medication and the that night they needed an MRI. While I was doing the MRI scan my pain went off. I counted to 1,236 and then asked them to take me out just so that I could rumb my face to stop the pain.

After this they admitted me into the hospital. They kept giving all this medcation three times a day. I went to the hosptial on Tuesday and by Thursday I could not talk good ( I stuttered, most words couod not come out. ) By Monday I could not walk. On Tuesday the Doctor KICKED ME OUT. My boyfriend was with me the whole time and the doctor said all of this was just in MY HEAD. That there was nothing wrong with me.

I went to my own doctor and after a week I am alot better but still having a few problems with words. I can walk just fine. It was the medication that doctor was giving me that F***ed me up. I am now going after that doctor whould not listen to me everytime I told him of the effects that was happening to me.

When I seen my own doctor he knew in three minutes what was wrong. I had to use a wheel chair for two days and the a walker for two days till I could start walking on my own. It took a bit longer to start talking again for people to understand me.

What do you say, Is this all in my head? or can it be fixed?

it is not in your head but it certainly takes forever for them to figure it out. i am not sure why they can’t do something about this awful pain. I haven’t been pain free for ~ 5 years. It is just slowly aging me, making me, mean, taking over my life, and at the worse depresssion ever. I just keep hoping someday, somehow, somewhere, someone will find something to help us all. I have been trhough alot in the past 5 years, and am soooooooooo, soooooooooooo tired. take care and keep on searching. we have to. ~Tami~
