It seems that every time it gets hot, above 90 degrees, my pain either starts up or increases in severity. I'm not sure if it's really the rise in temperature or the change in barometric pressure. I know there have been discussions here on barometric pressure's relationship to flare-ups but what about heat? Can anyone relate?
I'm not sure about temperature other than cold. I'll have to keep track. Then again, the heat is often followed by a storm (where I am), so it could be barometric pressure at the bottom of it also.
I live in a country with extreme temperature changes. With me it is rather extreme cold but if it gets too hot my pain also becomes worse. Warm weather with a bit of sun is the best. Everything into the extreme, especially cold, brings my pain over the top and nearly not to cope.
I watched myself and made a weather diary: temperature, wet, dry, dusty, windy, pressure, rainy, sunny, etc… that helped a lot to understand myself and the connection to weather. Also I now try to hear every morning the weather predictions on the radio to dress correctly (scarf…) and adjust my meds a bit. Helps big deal.
