Is there anyone on here that can recommend a neurologist that specializes in TN. In Massachusetts?
I’m in western MA in the Berkshires. I see a Neurologist named Dr. Zarentskya Fuchs. She is in Lenox and Great Barrington. She does not specialize in TN but has many patients that she treats.
I used a group in Mass General, but they were difficult to get to, for me, extremely expensive, too.
I tried several different neurologists on the Cape, and would. It recommend any of them. I am currently without a specialist now.
I have used the Facial Pain Assn Website for so many resources. They have a list of Neuros and Neurosurgeons that are recommended by TN Patients. It is a life changer to have a Dr experienced in the nuances of TN. I haven’t been on here in a while, and feel like there used to be a Dr list here too!
I too use Dr. Zaretskya-Fuchs. I think she is the best you’ll find in the greater Pittsfield area. I moved to the Berkshire’s 5 years ago from a town less then 25 miles from NYC and have found her to be as good as any Neurologist from there. If you find any better than her let me know.
I’m in the Springfield area. I’ve had an MVD and 2 glycerol rhiz…by Dr. Kamil Kalia(located in Springfield )…good luck!!actually upon rereading what you’re looking for he is the doctor who performed the procedures. As for a neurologist I had one who was “clueless” to patients needs. I’m only going to put his partial name so I don’t get into legal trouble (Dr. Richard Ro…)
Hello Tom. Nice to hear from another Dr. Z client!
Hello spikiegirl,
I have met Dr. Kamil Kalia for a consultation. Would you mind giving me input on your MVD with him? It would be appreciated. Thank you
I highly recommend Dr. Bruce Cook from New England Neurological.
