Neurologists?

Does anyone have any recommendations for Neurologists in the Connecticut, New York, Rhode Island, or Massachusetts areas? I am from Connecticut (I have both TN and now most likely ON) but I am willing to drive anywhere within the tri-state area to find a neurologist who will listen to me and not just write me off as a crazy 19 year old.

My story is here if you would like to read it: http://www.livingwithtn.org/group/occipitalneuralgia/forum/topics/new-here-and-could-use-some-help-advice

I figured it would be easier to post the link because it is rather long and I figure not everyone would want to read it.

Thank You in advance.

Did you look above at the doctors tab!?

Not a neurologist, but a neurosurgeon, Dr. Jeffrey Brown n Great Neck, NY, is an expert in TN in all its fom. Other TN doctors refer their complicate cases to him! He gave me the diagnosis of bilateral ATN, and performed all four of my surgeries in 2014. I am now pain and med free!
Please feel free to ask me any questions, and best of luck to you!
Christine

Hi . Dr. Jeffrey Cohen, NYC. Excellent. Top TN Doctor. I flew from Chicago to see him. He is great and very experienced with TN.

Good luck.

I would recommend you contact the Neurology Dept at Massachusetts General Hospital. They are expert and helpful.

They will assess you and provide a "path." Good luck.

I also live in Connecticut. I go to Associated Neurologists of Southern Connecticut in Fairfield. I see Dr. Werely. They understand what this disease is. I was a regular patient for migraines when I ended up there (sent by my equally astute dentist) who thought he knew what was going on as I did not have any dental issues. If you need a good dentist as well let me know. Going to the dentist can be terrifying but they understand the issues as well and even offer several types of sedation at the practice. Let me know if I can provide any other information for you.
