My pain has always been in the lower right jaw it has always felt like a tooth or gum problem but this recewnt flare it has moved more into the upper right jaw teeth gum are and a little in my right ear I rarely get type 1tn when i do it is in the lower part mostly the burning throbbing pain. Is this what happens with type 2 it will continue to move to other places and does anyone know why?????? Also what meds work best for this type I do take a nerve blocker and just added another med and dr wants to start lyrica in a couple weeks...Any suggestions?????????

I'm asking the same question. I have type II TN and my pain has always been concentrated in two of my teeth and the surrounding bone. I get pain elswhere, around my jawline, neck and ears but I put that down to my TMJ (the pain feels different). So, the answer is I don't know but maybe someone else will be able to answer.
