Okay I have a dumb question for y’all. Recently I had my vision checked. I usually wear contacts, but ran out of them last spring. That was not the best time to have my vision check with my pain so out of control and have the eye doctor poking around my face. So the other week I finally went out and did this. My vision has changed from two years ago that it barely noticeable. The eye doctor said it was extremely minimum. Could this be due to my medications? I swear I read something on the Lyrica that stated it can cause changes in vision, but then again my memory these days is not the greatest. Has anyone else expiranced this? I’m just curious. Thanks all
I don’t know if I have levelled out, but my eyesight has only changed a small amount in the seven years I have been taking TN meds.
My right eye sight has deteriorated s I don’t know whether this is due to Tegretol & gabapentin. When I saw the optholmologist he said I have central retina vein occlusion. I forgot to ask him if it was due to medication.
My eyesight definitely got worse on Lyrica, I noticed I had to up my reading glasses. I was driving the other day and noticed that I couldnt read the signs, so I will be going to my eye doc soon. I am off the Lyrica now, but I think it did permanent damage to my eyesight.
Its funny, I wear contacts too, and my eyesight had never changed for 30 years, then one month before I got TN my right eye prescription changed...I wonder if that was a warning sign
