Hi - I have atypical trigeminal neurolgia and having read the Facial pain associations articles on upper cervical chiropractic care, I do want to try it. I contacted the international association of chiropractic care and they sent me a list of NUCCA certified chiropractors. One is Within reasonable distance, Doctor William Lourdan in Branford CT. Has anyone heard of him or how can I find data on his successes? Is the fact that he has practiced for many years and has the NUCCA certification enough to give him a try? He is the only one within a few hours of me. Any guidance would be appreciated.

When I was looking for a NUCCA practitioner, I set up an appointment just to meet and chat. There was no charge for that. I had seen specialists in Boston and New York and was so happy to find someone just a few hours from me in northern California. (As I mentioned in another post, I actually moved to be closer to my NUCCA provider’s practice so I could be seen weekly.)
In my experience, meeting the doctor and talking with him helped me to decide (more than any website references could have).
Ask how often he treats TGN and what the outcomes have been like.
