Picked up my script yesterday and I have Carbamazepine 100mg chewables..
he has me doing 1 at bedtime for 7 days.. then 2 at bedtime 2nd week and 3 at bedtime for the 3rd week.. I assume the forth I will continue with 3 at bedtime. I have put a call into his office. does this sound kosher?
Yes Mickey, that sounds about right to me. Whatever he wrote as the highest dose is what you would continue with.

Chewables??? Never heard of that! How do they taste? I must say it gets hard to take all these meds sometimes. Chewables might be the way to go!!
Hope it works well for you! I take my tegretol twice a day twelve hours apart to keep the blood levels steady...if you find you have pain by late afternoon/evening you might want to ask the doc about spreading out the dose! so far so good--painfree... diagnosed six weeks ago...
