Remission ( partly) and dental work

Hi all, I have had a part remission, just electric shocks, 24/7 burning and eye pain for the last 15 months, but given the pain I had before from just sipping water, full on 3 branch pain in my whole face, eye, ear, teeth, lip, tongue, chin, throat, head along with drooling and facial paralysis, will take that deal from the devil.

How long has your remission lasted ? I am almost 40 and my full of hope and inspiration :( consultant told me it always comes back and worse. I am having more frequent electric pain on all 3 branches, but I have stopped my meds, refusing even paracetamol, none of the cocktail I was taking did a thing, neither helped the pain or knocked me out to sleep for a bit, I think I have the constitution of an elephant and must need their dose so why suffer side effects.

I have a vascular compression on MRI but my neuro says because I have 24/7 burning that an op is not likely to work. I also have a chiari malformation of 14mm to confuse matters :(

Has anyone had dental work done with Tn ? I started off thinking as a lot of us do, that I had dental pain, had a tooth removed and bam , enter hell here on priority pass.

Because of the amitriptyline I took at high dose causing severe lack of saliva I have now got 2 teeth that need pulling with only a little bit left :( after the last experience I am less than willing for my regular dentist to inject and do, anyone had a general anesthetic at a hospital and found it ok?

I feel it is tempting fate again and what I have is bad enough without poking the fire but I have managed despite the pain to get myself A's in recent exams and be in a position to apply for University, I can't do that if when I smile I have two teeth half gone.

I don't feel any pain in those two teeth, can they just cover them up with something ?

any answers appreciated ,

thank you

I'm not the guru about teeth here BUT

There is a study that says that your life can be 65% improved with your type of TN --- having an MVD
