So has anyone had the Balloon, Gamma knife or Radiotherapy after an MVD? Did it work? Not happy with the Neurologist I was seeing so am totally off meds which I had bad side effects anyway.
I had Gamma Knife after my MVD.
My MVD was considered, in my surgeon's terms, a "failure."
The Gamme Knife was, as well.
The material I read seems to support the idea that having anything after an MVD seems to lessen the likelihood of success...depressing, isn't it?
