I had my MRI today and got my results back today. They saw nothing out of the ordinary that would be causing all of my pain, so they feel based on my symptoms and where the pain is located it is trigeminal neuralgia. They did find a small fatty filled mass/tumor in my pituitary gland that would not be causing the pain. They said it is nothing to worry about, but I do have to have another MRI with contrast next week. The nurse said they will work with me on meds...they don't want me in pain. I just don't want to feel to drugged...I have a 2 year old, 4 year old, and 10 year old. So, just taking the tegretol 600mg per day and it seems to help somewhat.
