Mouth Rinse

I have a friend whose brother is a naturpath (??) and he says he's had people use Heritage Products, Ipsadent Herbal Mouthwash, 16-Ounce before. It's something you can purchase from Amazon. Has anyone tried this before or had any luck with any mouth rinses?

She also said to use Biotene afterwards to help with the burning from the Ipsadent. It sounds very unpleasant...but if it works...

I am going to check with my doctor of course, but who knows.

I use Biotene for dry mouth and it works well.

I don't trust an herbal mouthwash. Stuff like that isn't regulated by the FDA so you never truly know what's in it. Just not something I'm interested in. I'm sure there are others here who have tried herbal stuff. Hopefully they pipe in. :)

Are you saying this helps with dry mouth or something else?

there is a mouthwash made of lidocaine that is used for numbing

I am wondering if anyone has tried this for TN pain management.

Do you know the name of this? Is it OTC? Or is it a prescription mouthwash
