Those taking Lyrica for their TN, did you find the side effects increased when the dosage was increased? My Dr upped my dose from 200 mg/day to 300 and I am concerned about increased dizziness, fatigue, etc. Thanks in advance.
Don: I was on Lyrica for awhile my dosage was according to my neurologist as “off the grid”. I took upwards of 75 mg up to 10 capsules per day. I was feeling fatigued. I was advised that if I had a few good days I could go down 1 or 2 capsules and continue for a few more days and if pain became worse I would then go up. My major side effect was I developed a skin rash from the Lyrica and asked to go back to carbamazepine. I did prefer the Lyrica as a better drug

Sorry I called you by the wrong name. It is a med thing. I also gained weight. Average weight gain on Lyrica is 4 percent. Once off Lyrica I lost the weight

Lyrica has been great for me too. I haven't had many side effects when upping or lowering my dosage other than the weight gain or loss. Obviously I like the loss better than the gain LOL! I have found for me, I take a full dosage at about 4pm so most of the dizziness fatigue hit while I am asleep, and it allows me to have a life. I am on a good cycle right now and usually am during the summer. Dealing with double shoulder surgeries this is a good thing! Blessings~~
