Liquification of meals

Depending on what type of day your pain is having even soup requires too much chewing(depending on which type you have). My favorite device for shakes and soups is the Magic Bullet.

Let me know what experiences you have with this or other devices. VitaMix etc...

Some baby foods are tolerable - like the jar of smashed bananas - no chewing!

I have a thermomix which I love because I can cook and blend using the one machine. It was an expensive buy but I love to cook so I use it all the time.

Glad the magic bullet is working out for you, if I’m in a lot of pain it gets hard to get movitated to cook but we need to look after ourselves.

When I just don't have it in me to cook, I try and drink alot of water, but sometimes thats difficult also. About 4 days ago, during a particularly nasty run, a friend brought over some Ensure. It really wasn't that bad, actually tasted like a protein drink I used to use. Another friend pureed some potato soup. God Bless our support systems! I think I'd stay curled up in the fetal position without them.

Wishing everyone a low pain grade day

Peace and Love

Oh, all you guys, I haven't got there yet, but I feel it coming. I now have TN type 2 on both sides, and it does hurt to eat. I have just been eating a lot of refried beans, scrambled eggs, yogurt, mashed sweet potatoes. I have just been using my old hand masher, and smooshing mine up. I have been avoiding all nuts and seeds, and whole grains in bread, because they hurt. Also, I grew up feeling guilty for removing bread crusts, but I do it now, eating only soft white bread. And I love oatmeal, home-made not instant, so that helps too. I wish you all the best. Bon Apeptit!
