Is anyone taking LDN (low dose naltrexone) for TN ?
Naltrexone is an opiate antagonist used in the treatment of alcoholism and drug addiction. So far as I have read, it has no medically sanctioned use in any form of neurological pain management, including TN.

LDN .. Low Dose Naltrexone 3.0 MG or 4.5 MG ...... Helps ALL AutoImmune diseases - it is being used off-label
Hi, Susan—A long time ago, the nurse practitioner I was seeing every 3 mo suggested trying the LDN just to give it a shot. The med had to be compounded at a local compounding pharmacy. I began on 1.5 mg at night, then gradually went to 3.0, then 4.5. If I remember correctly, it took about 10 days to get up to the 4.5. The only thing I noticed was that my mornings were pain free. By noon, however, I was stuck again. It was nice that it helped me sleep as well. As she and I measured the benefits, we found it wanting. She said for some patients w/ auto immune pain diseases, this med is a god send. For me, it was not.
Have you tried it yet? If so, how is it working for you?
