I actualy live 10 minutes from Bournemouth, it certainly would be interesting to meet this lady. I expect her TN went into remission and she was experiencing a pain free period.

I rather expect you're right about the remission. I 'm not religious at all but I think there could well be a limit to what prayer can do! The only thing that starving would achieve is no pain while eating. I think I'll stick to medication.
This could well happen there is no limit to what God can do and fasting is not starving. Peter had prayer for tn and the pain vanished there and then even though it only went into remission at least he had some time without pain and was able to enjoy his life
