Not sure if my first post went through, so will repost.
Hi everyone,
Thank you for your comments and for making me feel so welcome. In case you haven't seen my profile, I am 22 and was recently diagnosed with Trigeminal Neuralgia (TN) after months of extreme pain, endless doctors’ visits and being told I am exaggerating and a liar.
It was very hard to find out at such a young age that I have a lifetime condition that may get worse over time. I am doing a feature on TN for my blog to raise awareness and prevent misdiagnosis. The time that I spent not knowing what was wrong was so hard and I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. I feel if I can do a feature on my log and it helps just one person, then having this condition would be worth it just to be able to provide comfort to another.
I would be extremely grateful to anyone who could provide a brief account of their experiences and journey with TN. I will provide you with as much anonymity or credit as you would like. If you don’t want to do this, that’s ok but I would still like to invite you to check out the feature at

I hope to hear from some of you soon and please keep me updated on any new treatments or alternative therapy. I wish everyone luck and share the hope that one day we my be pain free!
Chelz
