Its the simple things

Sometimes it is the simlpe things in life that bring us joy.Like a new.friendship or after monthes of oral pain being able to eat a chesseburger and drink an icey soda. Or a big bowl of ice cream  What are the simple things that bring your life joy and brings some normicy to your day ???!?!

My 3 doggies and 2 kitty’s !

My best friend calling on me while I was feeling poorly with flowers, chips and cheesecake!

Ahhh sweet and beaitful

Music. Whether I am playing my guitar or just listening, it provides a small escape.

Music soothes the savage beast.

My 3 Saint Bernards and 4 cats, they provide such a nice escape with unconditional love and the cats constant antics...One kitty is nicknamed captain destructo, oh the things he does! Any day I feel good enough to smile and laugh :) And this group, being able to be understood here, share the good and vent when needed! A simple joy is also looking at my husband when he is in his recliner and trying to forgot, just for a few, that he is in a wheelchair now, sounds silly, but its nice to see him like that.

yes its certainly the simple things can bring joy into our lives, especially when theres a lot of pain, for me its talking to my grandchildren in Australia on skype telling me all their news, and thanks to all in the group for all the info.xxx

Being able to play with my two dogs when i'm having a good TN day. And caring for my plants when i'm having a not-so-good TN day.

And..on the really good TN days (no pain and the drugs aren't screwing me too badly)...just playing DDO with my online buddies.

There was a time i took all of those things (and SO much more) for granted. Nowadays, i notice and appreciate things like that.

Thanks TN for making me a grateful (better?) person....??? *laughs* Sheesh...

Wishing simply pleasures on you all..!!

Things that take my mind off my pain and myself and onto helping others!!! I schedule my life around my 2 favorite volunteer activities, cooking a meal for 200 one day a week, (with 3 other ladies) and serving meals to the elderly on another evening. Sure, talking triggers my pain, but I can still use my hands…(((:

All are great :)))))
