I have severe numbness and itching along with needles, etc. on my whole left following Cyberknife. I saw my doc yesterday and he told me to take Vitamin E and AlphaLipoic Acid and that could help calm the nerve down. He also gave me ointment to apply to my face. I hope this all works as I desperately need a break!! Has anyone tried this before? After reading about it, it for sure is for the symptoms that I am having. Thank you!!
I don’t take them, but was curious of the medical backing whenever a doctor recommends certain vitamins. The below research is encouraging,
- Alpha-lipoic Acid helps delay or reverses diabetic neuropathy though it’s antioxidant properties. Might work similar with other nerves.

That said, this might not cure it but at least it sounds like these could help with the healing process, and I hope it helps you!
