Hello to all my TN friends!! I wanted to share my good new for today!! I was diagnosed with TN 1 and TN 2 in 2007…I had a PNS placed a year ago…and ended up with an infection this past summer ending in removal of the entire system. I was on iv antibiotics at home and had to wait 6 weeks to have it replaced!! I continued to run through the removal and infection, but once the PNS was reimplanted I had to wait a month to allow the scar tissue to build up around the battery and wires!! I hit the trail bright and early on the first day I was released to run!! 35 degrees out!! I was dressed in my Eskimo outfit with bandit mask!! A little scarey looking I have to say. Today it was sunny and 60 degrees, I ran my first 5k since reimplantation!! It felt so good!! I felt so free!! I am beating the TN odds!! I am a fighter and a survivor!! I BEAT PAIN TODAY Thinking of starting to wean off some meds

That's fantastic. You're an inspiration! Keep on keeping on... :)
I love to run. I have done the Warrior Dash, 5Ks, etc. My MVD is Thursday and I can't wait to go on my first run!
