How many of you thinks what you write here are just for the members?

Wow!

Again I always come back to saying if you do not want the whole world knowing your business do not post it online. I do not even post things through private messages if I do not want to run the risk of it being found out. Internet privacy truly is non existent. Someone really wants to find out something about you, there ways it can be done, no matter how well one thinks they have their site protected.

When I found this site I read some of the postings and it was obvious it was a public site and I didn't need a sign to tell me it was public. If it was private I would have not been able to read them before becoming a member. After reading several postings I realized that I wanted to become a part of this group. I am glad I joined as it has helped me greatly and know it has done the same for many other members. I also believe it has helped many other non members as well. I am eternally thankful for this site, the founders, moderators, and the other members that make this site great.

Thanks for the kinds words Scott. We appreciate all the nice things that people have said on this thread. Everyone volunteers their time here. No one is paid. This is a labor of love for everyone. Wow, I have been out of the loop lately, due to many neurological tests and all that fun stuff and I missed all this...I can say that I have been stalked on the internet, so my best advise is, if you are afraid of your information getting out there, then dont log on, make a phone call...it sounds harsh, but if someone wants to find out about you they will.

If someone wanted to check on you by google, they would have to know either your e-mail or your screen name, thats why in some cases, not here, I actually use a fake identity on line, with a separate e-mail for that use only. I use it to mostly for searches, because it cuts down on the spam.

I have no problem actually telling people on here my real name, I want to help people and if those I work for dont understand or are snooping ( which they are not) then I would have to look for new work. If someone is that interested in your medical issues, then you have much bigger problems with them then just the internet...just sayin...been there
