Here's a Link to a Special News Report about TN

Hi everyone,

Some of you know I was interviewed about my TN by a local Seattle news station recently. Two other people with TN were also interviewed. Here's a link if you'd like to take a look! I think they did a good job shedding light on things. Let me know what you think. :)

Here's that link:

Aww Vicki!!! That was great!! So nice to see you. : )

Thanks for sharing and for spreading awareness!!

Congrats on the Italian Vogue gig too!!

You looked great, you go girl!

((( hugs ))) Mimi

Mimi, you are such an encourager. Thank you! I was really nervous doing this (I don’t even like to have my picture taken). I guess there’s been a lot of response already, so that’s good.

Thanks again, Mimi! I’ll send you a message soon. I want to see how you’re doing. (((HUGS)))

Just watched it, and it was really nice to see you Vicki! You did great, and it's so important to spread awareness. I also had a look at your pictures; they're beautiful...I love the colours and themes, they make me feel kind of nostalgic - in a good way!

Take care,

Oli

Hi Oli, so great to hear from you again! I'm glad you liked the interview and thanks for your sweet words about my photos. It's definitely therapeutic for me.

Hope this is a good day for you and that you're doing well. :)

Talk to you soon,

Vicki

Thanks, Vickie, I emailed this to numerous people ( you can click on the article to email). Just the other day, someone who had known me for years said that I had "fibromyalgia". Good grief, I'm still getting that from family too, even though I've sent them articles. Maybe watching the news will help.

That was great Vickie. I'm new to this community and it has been a lifesaver. Even my best friend thinks it can't be "that bad". She thinks if I just get out I'll feel better. She along with my ARNP think it is depression based. Thank goodness for my pain mgt Dr. and my dentist. They get it. The public awareness of this really needs a do over. So thank you so much. Lynn

THANK YOU VICKI!! You were the face and voice of all of us!!!! You spoke when many of us haven't been able. You educated where we never could. You went outside your comfort zone, not just for yourself, but for all of us!!! Congratulations on the assignment! blessings~~

lol! me too kg!!

So glad you were able to send it to family members, KG. Hope it helps them to understand and give you the empathy you need and deserve. :)

You're so welcome, Lynn. :) It makes me sad when I hear that relatives and friends don't understand. Glad you have a couple of people I your court atleast.

Hugs,

Vicki

Vickie, fantastic for spreading understanding of TN and proving at the same time that not only can life go on, but it can be lived to the fullest like you are proving. My admiration for you knows no bounds. xxx

Aww, thanks El. That means a lot to me! I admire you, too, and miss being in touch. Let's start up again, ok?

Thank you so much for raising the awareness of something that people can't see but is still is something very disabling for many people. I was fighting back tears just seeing people who we can identify with. I think that's probably the glue that holds us together here (and helps us too).

Hey Porcelina, thanks for your comment. I agree ... it really makes me not feel so alone when I visit this site or learn of someone else that has TN (which I rarely do). Glad if we have to face this, that we're in it together.

Hope this is a good day for you,

Vicki
