I haven’t posted in awhile due to life and No internet but after a year and 3 weeks I finally have a hearing date set to meet with the disability judge here in Oklahoma!! April 5th!! I’m so anxious but I hope to bring awareness to TN and ATN! Wish me luck. Prayers are needed.
I'm sure it was a lonnnnngggg journey for you!
Just tell Judge you have "Exhibit A"
- then use police grade tazer on his face - only once - and you shall be granted what you need! LOL
Good Luck!
That would be Awesome! I feel prepared as I have live this life for a year and a half. I’m beyond ready to explain this invisible disease and open eyes!..Thank you for your support!
Sending prayers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Good luck and let us know how it goes!
AMEN Kc! I tell my family that when I am having bad attacks that if they want to know what it feels like, to get a dog shock collar, put it on their jaw and zap it 100-200 times a day and they will feel what I feel!

You are in my thoughts for a good outcome!
Thank you all so much. I don’t post often but I do read most of what everyone else is going thru and I’m glad I have people who understand! the day is soon approaching!
Oh, I wish you the very best...it's a process that can be frustrating and emotional particularly if you have an "invisible illness".
Not clear if this is your first go-round but often it takes more than one round to get approved. Much can depend on the judge and what they do or don't know about what your suffering from so most likely you will have an opportunity to educate them!
Post anything that will help us in future with this battle. I wish you luck.
Wishing you luck today! Please post and tell us how it went ...and anything that could help us in the future!
Wishing you peace...

Good luck and prayers for the BEST outcome!!
BTW: LOVE the analogies of how this pain hurts…
I think it went very Well but as We could all assume the Judge knew nothing at all about TN. His face dropped when I went all medical terminology on him! They brought in a vocational expert that helped my case. She made it clear that anyone who would need multiple breaks or have to leave once a week could not hold down a steady job. Verdict was he wanted me to see another Dr. But I’m almost positive it’s more for his personal knowledge gain than my actual case. He wants a full write up of the disease and it’s effects. I feel like he should have done his own research and he had over 100 pages of my medical record. I am currently waiting on the appointment paper to see the Dr then have another supplimental hearing! Hoops but whatever it takes!
Keep marching forward!
Someday the medical field will say --- "Remember that old disease we cured called TN?"
Please keep us up to date..all of us applying or thinking of appying for SSD. I wished you luck on your hearing on the 5th and never heard anything more.
