I have at last got an appointment with dr Robert Macfarlan, he is at addenbrookes hospital , I was wondering if anyone has seen him and what he is like…??? I just want to get the best possible treatment by the best surgeon
hi victoria, it was mr mcfarlane that done my mvd. my recovery was fab. unfortunatly a car hit me last sept and it seems my tn has returned\, on 900mg of tegretol at moment, had mri and had 2 apps at addenbrooks. mr mac will not do another mvd as the risks are higher second time, waiting for an app with another neuro to discuss options, please keep me up to date on how you get on xx tracey
Hi Tracey , thank you for your reply im so sorry that your TN has returned after the accident how bad is that, I think sometimes that a surgeon doesn’t want to op on you twice… I have read about Dr Kitchen in london and he seems good from what I have read, you have eased my mind about mr mac so thank you for that , it’s a bloody horrible condition and I wouldn’t wish it on any one , I hope you find another surgeon there is also a ladie dr in London but I can’t think of her name of the top of my head good luck and I’ll keep you posted xx victoria
