I’ve been on Tegretol for many years, and all of a sudden 2 yrs ago I started experiencing severe vertigo and imbalance, had to stop working and driving as a result.I had many tests over the course of a year, which all came back normal, end result we think it was a side effect of the Tegretol.
Even though I never had a problem before apparently you can just develop side effects.
I would have tests to be sure your vertigo isn’t caused by an inner ear issue. Process of elimination will give you an answer.
