I wanted to take a moment to check in. I am not posting as often as I used to, but it does not mean I do not think of you all.
TN has it ups and downs. The Typical TN is doing well. Though my MVD was complicated I do not regret having had it done. I never did go off the neurontin, but as I am in recovery my goal was to be off all the narcotics and I have met that goal. The Atypical TN flares badly when the weather changes, but I know if I can hold on once the weather changes and stays stable I will be ok. Last winter was hard as the weather was changing constantly. So far this fall has been a "Indian Summer" and has been so much easier on the TN.
One thing that has begun to concern me is the fact I have been getting TN pain behind my left eye. I am starting to wonder if it could not be caused by the pituitary tumor. Having lost my health coverage I am having problems getting care, but someone at the Lance Armstrong Foundation is helping me with that. It is not if, but when I wlll get the tumor dealt with.
Have been staying very busy. As a result of the work I am doing I have grown to have great respect for Kiva Micro loans. They have a link here on the LivingwithTn page. . Thing is if you check them out it benefits us here as well. Win/win situation.
Life is good,
HUGS <3
