Book Recommendations?

I was blessed with a smite of Christmas Money and would like to purchase publications which may help me make a more informed decisions regarding my treatment options life with Type 2 Trigeminal Neuralgia.

Although, finding the right time to read, due to my pain and responsibilities as a mother, seems like it may be difficult, I want to expand my knowledge of options, etc.

So . . . .can any of you recommend any good reads on this?

Stef

Yes Stef. I can recommend"Taking control of TMJ" by Robert O Uppgaard" $17.99 [but I got it cheaper on the internet] Apart from the exercises to strengthen the jaw, head and neck muscles, it gives diagrams of all the major muscles in and around the face and neck and explains which symptoms are related to each muscle.

It recommends the second book"Pain Erasure the Bonnie Prudden way" which I also got cheaper than the stated price of $15 99. This shows all the muscles in the body and how to use trigger points to remove the patterns of pain. It has totally transformed my life. There's a section on removing pain from the jaw, head and neck. It's not as simple as the book states, especially when you are finding your own way but if you persevere things do improve. Good luck and happy christmas. Patx

Yes,

"Striking Back - The Trigeminal Neuralgia and Face Pain Handbook ", which goes in to TN2 quite a bit.

You can find it on Amazon.com, just search the title,

and a free online PDF "The Intractable Pain Patient's Handbook for Survival"
