Hi all
Just wondering if anyone else has read this book
It cost me heaps but it looks ok.
reprint 2011 , so at least I think it must be popular.
I can only read for a bit at a time due to my ADD and eye problems but I just wish all books were written in bigger print, not giant but bigger than the standard print size.
Is this the “Striking Back” book? If so, it is super helpful. I shared mine with a friend who is an internist with very limited knowledge of TN. The book really helped me understand my TN better and encouraged me to explore surgical options that my neurologist refused to even talk about. I would highly recommend it to anyone with facial pain.
My concern, Shelly, is that “Striking Back” doesn’t address Atypical TN, only Type I. Anyone who is Atypical and uses this book as inspiration to pursue MVD or other procedures is treading on dangerous ground. Atypical has different symptoms and different treatment. There is no book available that addresses Atypical Trigeminal Neuralgia and one is badly needed.
This one is just titled
