Any Success Stories after glycerol injection?

i had a glycerol injection 4 weeks ago. I am still having pain, in some respects a bit sharper then prior to the procedure. Dr. Lim ant John Hopkins performed the procedure. After complaining of the pain, they put me on a high dos of steriods, which have helped. But pain is still there. Wondering if anyone else has had this and how long it took to feel relief,if any at all. The thought process is that the nerve needs to calm down. I would love to hear other experiences, because I have bilteral TN and will have to undergo a MVD on the other side. Looking forward to hearing any feedback. thanks ai

I have had three glycerol injections, they did not work well for me...I finally had MVD surgery, twice,

Thanks Vic for the response, did you have MVD 2x on the one side? Or do you have bilateral TN?

I have had both MVD's on my left side.....
