After surgery concern question

I had my surgery on February 3 this year. My doctor always tells me to call with questions but when I do it takes them days to call back if they do. Anyway I was told that if I had drainage from the nose or ears that was clear to let them know. We’ll I have from my nose. Not a lot and not all the time. So when they say to watch for it how much drainage are they talking about? Usually happens when I’m moving around or bending over. Should I be concerned?

Betty I'm not knowledgeable about your specific surgery but any surgery close to the brain you need to be very aware of any leaking of spinal fluid.... I would call them and insist you need an answer now, not later.

Call you surgeon back ASAP, and let him/.her know you have all the signs of a Cerebral Spinal Fluid leak. This could be dangerous, and should be addressed.

Thank you both for letting me know. I appreciate it very much!
