A question to those who have had MVD surgery, How long does it take the incision to completely heal

It has been exactly 5 months since I had MVD surgery. I have not had any TN pain since surgery but, I am still weaning off of my medication which is 400 mg daily of carbmazepine. My question is this, How long does it take for the incision area to heal completely and does everything eventually go back to normal( the way it use to be before TN). I still feel my incision area. It is a feeling as if, there is something always there( the best way I can describe it, is, as if I had a large hair bow there all the time. I am aware that it does take along time for the bone to heal back and the nerves and muscle to heal but I was wondering if everyone else had this feeling. My head above and around where the incision is , always feels a little numb, (different) and I have numbness in my tongue most of the time now. I do still get feelings above my lip like it want's to strike, (very hard to describe) and from time to time the creepy crawling feeling's (tingling) beside of my nose and face. Just about every morning I wake up my head feels numb on the side of my surgery and of course my tongue is numb. This usually gets better once I get up.Does everyone else that has had MVD surgery have this same experience. I didn't know if maybe I should contact my Neurosurgeon about this are if it was probably normal.
