5-Point Scalp Acupuncture (Chinese)

Hi Ann,

Great news! So happy you are feeling better! I too have radically begun to change my diet: no wheat, no dairy, no sugar...it's hard but I am beginning to get used to it. (I LOVE chocolate and ice cream!) But I will do what it takes to get and stay out of pain. Thanks for your post!

Hi: I have tried and continue to use Acupuncture - it works wonders. First I called acupuncturists and asked if they had worked with TN patients and what their success rate was, and found one who was very familiar with it. She changed my diet, eliminating wheat, dairy, and much of the sugar I was eating and the combination of diet and acupuncture was fabulous! Try it! Ann Nordholm from Arizona

I have an acupuncturist in the Vancouver Washington area, she is not familiar with this. She would like to look into this procedure more. Would you mind sharing who your acupuncturist is in N J. Or where to find more info on this procedure? Thank you.

Would like to look into this who are the practitioners? I have tried accupuncture for several months then had to quit about a year ago. Thanks

Hi Molly,

I haven't tried it yet. I have been researching different forms of acupuncture to decide which one I think might help with my TN the best. I found The Center for Integrative Medicine at Englewood Hospital in NJ. Alexander Krych,L.Ac, practices the 5 needle method that was pioneered by Dr. Zhi Liang Huo. You can contact Mr. Krych at the center's acupuncture line at 201-894-3830 to learn more about this method. I have NOT tried this yet, but I plan to in the very near future. I hope you find what works for you!

Peace,

Adele :)
