4 episodes after a gap of 13 weeks

November 14th, 2015:

I've been traveling since October 15. We're in the process of moving to a new city. After 13 weeks of no pain, I've had 4 episodes in 3 days Nov 6, 9 and 10. All of them were strong, consisting of multiple shocks and the pain lasted for more than 30 minutes. So, what happened? Why did it return?

I can only guess on the basis of my initial experiences that living off a community kitchen and following whatever was made there, missing fruit and salad, reducing my ayurvedic medication, missing clove water for 3 days, and a certain amount of stress in the work area, all combined to cause it.

So, I've gone back to my old regime of lots of salad, fruit, nuts, complete medication, clove water. I've strictly removed red chillis and tomatoes from my diet (according to ayurveda, tomatoes increase vata; vata causes pain; nerve pain is the most chronic form of vata disorder).

I've added another remedy made by a friend on the recommendation of my vaid- massaging my gums with an oil (a combination of turmeric, clove and other herbs) It had helped during the attacks. So, I'm just continuing with it.

Will keep posting on the progress. No post means no pain. :)

Perhaps stress?

Yes, stress has caused it even in the past. But there seem to be different kinds of stress. I went without any episode through all the hassle and uncertainty of moving, for 3 weeks. TN is giving me an insight into my 'self'. :)
