I you are talking to me, because we have insurance we do not qualify for any help in any areas. Our income isn't really low or really high. We own our own business, farming. We incorporated a few years back to get a cheaper rate on insurance.

I have a question for those above either without insurance or the one person with the large family, are you in states where medicaid was not expanded?
Hi Shepherdgirl :) I was asking because my other half just got Familycare in NJ which is part of the medicaid expansion. He was able to drop his plan at work which was like 75 a week or something to 47 a month. If you are purchasing insurance yourself and not part of a plan through an employer you may want to look into what is now being offered. If you already have please forgive me, just trying to help :) My other half was only able to do this because he had applied for the Family care prior to being offered the insurance at his job. I just don't know what state you're in or your particulars but I have helped many people through health insurance issues so I thought I would ask.
Are your college kids over 26? Private health plans and health plans bought through the Fed. marketplace are required to cover children until they reach the age of 26.
