Hello, my daughter was diagnosed with TN several years ago and has been struggling with it. She's married with four children; one of which is disabled. She's also been struggling to find a primary physician who understands and is compassionate with this disorder. Michigan just expanded its Medicaid rolls so it's impossible to find a doctor with an opening in addition, she's been to several doctors who will not see her because a couple of years ago she was prescribed narcotic pain medication. She hasn't taken the pain medication for two years but she's found the doctors she tried to get in to see have treated her like she's a drug addict and that she's only pill shopping. Her immediate problem is the current doctor discharged her due last week to a late $50 bill. I called the doctor and was willing to pay the late Bill with a credit card, and even my daughter attempted to pay the bill. Lindsey is on her way to the emergency room in excruciating pain and I wondered if anyone in the Lansing/Owosso Michigan area knows of a primary physician who might have an opening?
