Twitch near lip

I was on her a few years ago when I was first diagnosed with ATN. But stopped coming on the site for some reason. My pain isn’t bad and I don’t really take medication for it but do take Gabapentin (600 mg) at night for chronic insomnia. My ATN is the lower to branches on the left. Lately I have developed a twitch near my lower lip on the left side. I haven’t seen a neurologist yet. My last one was in Georgia and I am now living in Michigan and haven’t been to one since I have been here. I don’t really want to go until Covid calms down. Anybody else have any twitching? It doesn’t come with any more pain. The only references to twitching I see is related to post surgery. I haven’t had any surgery for this

I did a quick search on the word “twitch” and this is what I came up with. Interestingly, there was some definite discussion of twitch unrelated to ATN. I know that personally, I have dealt with facial twitching to various degrees, without having a diagnosis related to it. If it’s not something that clears up on it’s own in the next few weeks, or if it gets worse, I would encourage you to seek out your doctor. You could start with your GP if you don’t currently have a neurologist.

several months ago i posted about a twitch in my face, long story short in October i was diagnosed with ALS, not sure if that twitch was the start, it went away after a while but in July my speech slowed down and then became somewhat slurred.

I’m so sorry to hear about this. How are you doing now?
