For 6 months I have had bi-lateral itching on my face. MRI showed nerve compression of a vein at CN5
My face itches most of the time. I do get what feels like electrical shocks around my eyes and burning under my eyes.
Does anyone else have itching instead of pain?

YES, the left side of my face itches most all the time at my ear, around my mouth, temple, forehead, cheek, nose. I also experience pain. I had a second stereotactic radio surgery (gamma knife) a year and a half ago that left permanent pain and numbness on the TN side of my face. before this, I didn’t have this itchiness. I too am interested in what others have to say about this condition you asked about.
