Tips for Everyday things

I am still reading up and learning all I can about TN, my diagnosis still relatively new..so I was wondering if anyone had any tips or ideas how to help with simple things...brushing my hair is not too bad, but when I brish my teeth, especially lower right, I am ready to jump thru the ceiling...anyone have any ideas to help...thank goodness my dentist kept saying my teeth were fine and didnt pull them out!

Thanks to Everyone here for all your help and support!

Washing or brushing my hair or washing the right side of my face all trigger my pain. I too, find brushing my teeth is a trigger. On really painful days, I sip mouthwash and gently allow it to surround my teeth—too much swishing also can set off the pain. On days that pain is more bearable, I brush my teeth with a soft brush and sensodyne toothpaste. I am like Jackie, I use a straw when my teeth are unbearable—sometimes I can’t even take a breathe through my mouth. Wind also sets off my pain, so I wear a scarf around my face and head when I leave the house, sometimes even that doesn’t work! When brushing my hair, I try to life my hair away from my head (gently) and run a brush through, I might not get all of it but at least I don’t look like bed head. We all have triggers, the trick is to identify them and find work a-rounds so we can have some sort of life. I wish you the very best is finding yours.
